Refund Policy

At duomatchjoy, operated by AHerchi WebDesign GmbH, we strive to provide high-quality digital entertainment. Please read our policy regarding refunds and cancellations carefully before making a purchase.

1. General Principles for Digital Products

Our products consist of virtual matching games delivered digitally via links or downloads. Due to the nature of these digital goods, they are exempt from the standard right of withdrawal once the performance has begun.

2. Right of Withdrawal & Its Expiry

In accordance with Article 16(m) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive and Section 356 (5) of the German Civil Code (BGB), the right of withdrawal expires prematurely for contracts concerning the delivery of digital content not stored on a physical medium.

The Waiver: By clicking the “Pay Now” (or equivalent) button and accessing the digital content or receiving the access link, you provide your express consent for AHerchi WebDesign GmbH to begin the execution of the contract immediately.

Loss of Right: You acknowledge that once the digital delivery has commenced, you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal and are no longer entitled to a refund.

3. Non-Refundable Circumstances

We do not issue refunds for:
Change of Mind: If you decide you no longer want the game after the link has been delivered.
Incompatibility: If your device does not meet the technical requirements clearly stated on our product pages.
Accidental Purchases: Unauthorized purchases made by minors (as our services are strictly for users aged 18+).

4. Exceptions: Defective Content

Your statutory warranty rights under German law remain unaffected. If the digital product is technically defective (e.g., the file is corrupted or the link does not work):
Please contact us at connect@duomatchjoy.com within 48 hours of discovery.
We will first exercise our right to rectify the defect (Nachbesserung) by providing a functional link or a repaired file.
If we are unable to fix the defect within a reasonable timeframe, a full or partial refund will be issued via the original payment method (Stripe).

5. Refund Processing

In the rare event that a refund is authorized by our management:
The refund will be processed through Stripe to your original payment method.
Please allow 5–10 business days for the credit to appear on your statement, depending on your bank’s processing times.
